InfraFileTM is a comprehensive product that includes dedicated hardware, InfraDMS engineering, and the ownCloud file sync application bundled in one integrated solution. It is enterprise file sync and share delivered via dedicated IT hardware hosted in our best in class data centers. The solution enables file access and share through a single front-end. Users can access company files on any device, anytime, from anywhere while IT can manage, control and audit file sharing activity to ensure security and compliance measures are met.
Users have a single interface from which they can access, sync and share files on any device, anytime, from anywhere. Users can quickly find and share the files they need whether shared by others or created themselves. With features like password protection, link expiration, anonymous and full access sharing, files are managed accordingly. And, administrators can easily track and audit file sharing activities.
With a sync client that keeps the web, desktop and mobile device on the same page, users don’t have to question if they have the latest file version. Running seamlessly in the background, ownCloud actively monitors any file changes and pushes the latest version to all devices and all relevant users wherever they are.
Universal File Access
Universal File Access means users can access company files on any device, anytime, from anywhere – all completely managed, secured and controlled by IT. Data is kept where it is while IT is able to manage proprietary information and business risk; leveraging existing data management, security and governance tools and processes.
With InfraFileTM, we apply existing rules or work with you to set rules for allowing or denying access by IP address range, device type, file size, subnet, geography, time, group membership and more. On every connection, if those rules are not met, the connect request is denied. If the rules are met, the connection and – ultimately file transfer or action – is allowed.
Logging and Auditing
Two separate apps enable admins to log account level activities such as logins, file sharing activity, file updates and more – giving admins the information they need for compliance reporting and auditing of the file activity. Logs may be configured to feed an enterprise log manager as well.
InfraDMS can integrate with your LDAP and AD environment to ensure a single set of credentials is maintained for ease of use and security optimization. With LDAP/AD integration, the authentication request is handled by the AD/LDAP server. Credentials are not maintained by the InfraFileTM ownCloud system.
